Process for Registering an Environmental Product Declaration
EPD DAPcons® have a defined validity period of 5 years. If during the validity period there are changes at the technological level that may lead to a variation in the environmental impact in the range of 5-10% of the product affected by the DAPcons®, the organization must inform the administrator and initiate its renewal.

Step 1. To become a member
Affiliation to the DAPconstruction program is a requirement for all companies that want to register products in the DAPconstruction program, and it is also an option for all those manufacturing companies or business organizations that want to be linked to the DAPcons® brand.
Step 2. Conduct LCA
In the event that the company does not have the internal knowledge to develop the life cycle analysis, it must hire an LCA consultant. A company affiliated with the program that does not know of any LCA consultant may request information from the program about LCA consultants specialized in environmental declarations of construction products.
Step 3. Complile data. Draft DAPcons®
Once the life cycle analysis has been carried out, a draft environmental product declaration must be formalised. To do this, the LCA consultant must register on the operator program platform, as a consultant.
Step 4. Verify EPD DAPcons®
With the draft DAPcons® formalised, the verification of the draft environmental product declaration must be requested. From this moment on, the consultant cannot make modifications..
Step 5. Publish EPD DAPcons®
When the verifier completes the verification process, the DAPconstrucción program receives an internal communication and starts the completion of the process with a formal verification, approval and signatures of the document.
